Well, Mother's Day is over but it still feels chilly in the air!  I love that the sunshine is trying to tell us it's "springtime", so hopefully it will be around the corner!  With that in mind, Hersheypark & all Hershey's activities are gearing up for a wonderful season!  Such as Roundtop Mountain Adventures with zip lining, rock wall climbing & paintball!!  So while you're getting your vacation itineraries together, remember Blair Mtn. B&B is only minutes from either adventure! 

I am sitting down at the Welcome Center as folks come into wonderful Pennsylvania for National Tourism Week!  Just remember that a B&B is a "Better Way to Stay" when touring PA!!!  Everyone have a wonderful week!!

Well, it's April 1st of 2013!  Didn't we just have Christmas??  Anyway, finally getting a little  warmer and it's almost time to open the decks & wash the porches!!  I came across this really cute video of what a "hotel" had to offer compared to a B&B!  You will be pleasantly surprised!  I hope you enjoy all the free "amenities" that come with your B&B experience, so the next time you think of "hotel" you'll quickly change your mind! It's Palm Sunday and while it should be sunny & seeing daffodils and getting orchids & hyacinth for Easter next week, there's an impending snow of 6" to 10 " tomorrow!!!

Well, at least inside it's lovely with a bridal shower going on!!  So.....think "happy thoughts" and it will soon be spring!!  Blessings to all!

Well, it's hard to believe that tomorrow is the first day of Spring with snow melting on the ground!  But the "spring peepers" (baby frogs) are making a "joyful noise" from the little corner pond on the property!  I will be glad to see some lush green trees and put out some flowers to welcome in the nice weather!  So if you're scheduling your visit to Hersheypark, Gettysburg 150th celebrations, local wineries

I've just booked my fourth wedding for this year and am excited to finally get some booked!!  Have lots of openings yet so if you're looking for a beautiful outdoor & rustic wedding, I have the perfect place!!  Call for a visit!

March is coming in like a lion!!  Snow to boot!!  Roundtop Mtn. Resort is open still with the entire mountain being open thru this weekend!!  I still have a few rooms if you need a place to stay & ski!!

Here is the wonderful Valentine's Dessert!!  Yum!

Well, we had a wonderful Valentine's weekend!!  All the guests were snowboarding or skiing or just relaxing away from working or other responsibilities.  I made a wonderful dessert/fruit of a croissant filled with cheesecake pudding, layered bananas, strawberries on top with whipped cream & chocolate sauce!!!  Now that it is over, I'll have to come up with another fabulous dessert for next year!  Have a wonderful week everyone!

The Weddings in Style bridal show on Sunday, Feb. 10th, was wonderful!!  Had a blast!  Met a lot of girls still looking for a wedding venue and lots more that needed a bridal shower venue!  I still have opening for 2013 so if  you're in need, look no further!  Still offering 10% off to any girls that were at the show and book with me!

I was pleasantly surprised today to see I was in a Philadelphia advertisement for "local events"!  Very nice!!

Also just came back from a wonderful Innkeeper's Conference in Las Vegas!  Such support and fun!  Learned a lot and hopefully all you Blair Mtn. friends & guests will benefit from what I've learned!!  Have a safe week!!  More snow coming up!  Here we go Ski Roundtop.
